We're raising money for the Isle of Wight Branch of the MND Association
Keeping you updated
Occasionally we like to update you with our team news – and we’ve been busy: we have signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant and our financial literacy presentation (Launchpad) is now being delivered to Island sixth forms. We were also nominated for a business award and we’ve spread a little cheer too …
The Armed Forces Covenant is a national responsibility involving government, businesses, local authorities, charities and the public. Businesses that wish to demonstrate their support for the armed forces can sign the covenant and in doing so they make a range of written and publicised promises that show their support.
Matt Jones, Chartered Financial Planner, has been visiting Island sixth forms with his financial literacy presentation. The presentation, which is delivered free to Island sixth forms, is geared towards helping this age group make their giant leap into adulthood. It aims to help them understand how to make educated choices regarding their money.
We all need a pat on the back sometimes and the team at Rouse is no different. So we were all thrilled to have been nominated for the IW Chamber of Commerce’s Business Awards for Excellence 2017, in the category Small Business of the Year.
Competition is always tough and the standard very high at this annual event – we were certainly in fine company. It was great to be a part of this auspicious event and, although we didn’t win this time, we were honoured to be short-listed. It was a fitting tribute that added further gloss to our 25th year!
In our recent newsletter we included a client satisfaction survey, once again with the incentive of a draw to win a case of wine for all those who completed the survey. We are pleased to announce the lucky winner on this occasion is Mr David & Mrs Barbara Creighton of Whitwell. Congratulations!
