We're raising money for the Isle of Wight Branch of the MND Association
Keeping you updated
IW Chamber of Commerce: Bronze Lottery Patron. The IW Chamber of Commerce is one of 53 Chambers of Commerce in the UK. It’s a non-profit organisation, which is owned by its members, and offers a local hub through which to access a broad range of business support.
Sophia Peach: Equestrian Jumping. Supporting our Olympians of tomorrow.
Cherry Godfrey: Ad-mazing Creations Schools’ Competition. Cherry Godfrey organised a creative advertising competition for children on the Island, to help encourage creativity.
IOW Sports Awards: Recognising Island Sports Volunteers. This organisation does so much to recognise and encourage the sporting talent on the Island. We particularly support the recognition of all the volunteers who give so much of their time to the development and management of sport.
Daisy Chains: Easter Eggs Appeal. The charity supports Island families with children between birth and 18 years that suffer long-term health problems. We responded to their call for support of their annual Easter egg hunt.
RFU Injured Players Foundation: Donation. Supporting players who sustain catastrophic injuries and preventing future injuries through research and education. We have close association with grass roots rugby on the Island so it made sense for us to help the work of the Foundation.
Ventnor Cricket Club: 175th Anniversary. Supporting grass-roots cricket on the Island. We recognise the benefit of team sports and the importance of supporting them from the ground up.
Schools Walk the Wight: Mountbatten Hospice. The independent hospice charity providing health and end of life care and bereavement support to anyone living on the Isle of Wight. Support again for the vital work the hospice does and the services it provides.
MND Association: Isle of Wight Branch. Run entirely by volunteers, it aims to provide the best possible support to local people with MND, their families and carers. We committed to providing three years’ of support, through donations, for this charity that is so close to our hearts.
IOW Armed Forces Day: Marching Band Sponsorship. The day for celebrating the Armed Forces community on the Island. We wanted to recognise the sacrifice that the armed forces family makes for us all so we wanted to do what we could to ensure this year’s event was successful.
Cowes Cricket Club: Donation for Roller Repairs. Cowes CC is a local cricket club playing cup and friendly cricket. Another grass roots cricket club that needs the help and support of the community.
RIWAS: Recognising Agriculture on the Island. Supporting the annual County Show. By sponsoring the members’ area at the County Show each year we are able to ensure the heart of the rural community here keeps beating. The success of the County Show means the Agricultural Society on the Island is able to continue to support and encourage young farmers, through training bursaries.
