We're raising money for the Isle of Wight Branch of the MND Association
Keeping you updated
As you know our headline charity is the Isle of Wight Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. As well as our annual donation to them of £10,000 we have been fundraising regularly to add to that.
Our recent wine tasting events raised over £900 and in total the amount we’ve raised so far through our clients and professional connections is £2,225. The volunteers within the Isle of Wight MND community are also always hard at it when it comes to fundraising, so we would like to draw your attention to the upcoming 20th annual charity antiques and collectors’ fair on Sunday 9th March, 10am-3:30pm at Northwood House, Cowes.
Sunday 9th March 2025 10am-3:30pm. Northwood House, Ward Avenue, Cowes.
Go along to the 20th annual charity antiques and collectors’ fair, in partnership with the Northwood House charitable trust, being held to raise funds for the Isle of Wight Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. Entrance fee is just £3.50 per person (or £6 for two) and accompanied children are free.
There will be refreshments and light snacks available for purchase.
We were also delighted to hear that, in addition to funding the FreedomTravel initiative, some of our £10,000 company donation financed the MNDA IOW branch’s trip to the Santa Special at the Havenstreet Steam Railway. The trip, organised for members of the MND community and their families and friends, was a huge success. The children particularly enjoyed meeting Santa and receiving a lovely gift. The MNDA IOW said: ‘Our thanks must go to all the staff at the station who were so very helpful. It was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon with old friends and getting the chance to make new ones.’
We are very happy to have been able to help facilitate this lovely event.
